Green Tea - Bud

Green tea is a type of tea made from the leaves and buds of Camellia sinensis that have not undergone the same withering and oxidation processes used to make oolongs and black teas. Green tea originated in China, and its production and manufacture has since spread to other countries in East and Southeast Asia. There are several varieties of green tea, which vary significantly depending on the C. sinensis cultivar used, growing conditions, horticulture methods, production process, and harvest time. While there has been significant research on the possible health effects of consuming green tea regularly, there is little evidence that drinking green tea has any health effects.
